My thanks to Mackillop Catholic College Warnervale for hosting my author visit yesterday, and to Bronwyn Sandeman for inviting me – and to all the staff for making me so welcome. It was lovely to meet so many students, to have the opportunity to talk about books and the craft of writing, and have the chance to answer questions about writing and about my books. It was a special pleasure to meet the keen readers from Book Club, and I’m looking forward to seeing them all again when they come to visit the Quarantine Station in Manly on the special Ghost Boy tour based on my book!
