I had such a fun day at the Quarantine Station in Manly recently recording a zoom meeting for teachers telling them a little about the history of this magnificent site and about the newly relaunched Ghost Boy tour based on my novel. It was so exciting to see inside Tad’s suitcase and Froggy’s backpack, both of which add a new element to the tour as students can unpack these to reveal artefacts relevant to the story, both in the past and now. (The photograph shows my joy – and surprise – to find Tad’s carved rabbit inside!)
