HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!  May I wish you health, happiness and good fortune in 2018, with the love of family and friends, exciting adventures, new challenges, blissful moments and may all your wishes come true.  (Rub the magical lamp and make a wish!)  My apologies for the long silence: there are multiple birthdays in our family in December/January quite apart from Christmas and New Year, plus my sister is visiting from South Africa and we also attended the beautiful wedding of my nephew Doug and his new wife, Tess.  So it’s all been pretty full on and with more to come.  In amongst all of that I have finally begun something I promised myself I’d do several years ago: a complete rewrite of my Shalott trilogy for teenagers, with a view to exploring in more depth what I know now but didn’t know at the time.  And in fact I’m interested to reread what I wrote all those years ago, to see how those thoughts influenced my later adult novel I, Morgana.  I guess Arthurian legend has become part of my dreaming! So my new year’s wish is that I’ll be able to find a new publisher for the Shalott bind-up.  Do you have a new year’s resolution? What are your new year wishes?  Please feel free to leave a comment and share your dreams!

  1. This is the right site for anybody who wants
to understand this topic. You know a whole lot its almost hard to argue with you (not that I really will
need to…HaHa). You definitely put a new
spin on a subject that’s been written about for a long time.
    Great stuff, just great!
