Having gone flat chat to try and get Books 5 & 6 of the Janna Mysteries published and available from amazon.com ASAP, I’m really disappointed to have to tell you that they won’t be coming out now until September/October this year. There’s a very good reason for this. I’ve now found out that Random House Australia will only be releasing Books 1 – 4 on amazon.com from May – August this year, one per month. As this is tied in with a sales launch they can’t release them any earlier (I have asked.) And it would be really silly for me to publish 5 & 6 before the first four are up and available on line. So – I’m really sorry, it’s disappointing for you as well as for me. But the books ARE coming, I promise! They will be available either as paperbacks or as e-books – and I shall be celebrating big time when Janna’s quest is finally complete!
Meantime I’m busy putting the finishing touches to my mss, Hearts in Chains, before sending it off to a publisher. Fingers crossed!
Some of the messages I receive from readers (and I love hearing from you) include questions about their own writing. As a start, please check out the ‘writing tips’ segment on my website. I’m sure you’ll find it helpful. But the most important tip is just to DO IT – write your story any way you can. You can always cut and polish later. If you’re expecting perfection right from the start I can tell you now, you’re doomed to disappointment!
