So enjoyed my session with Year 6 students at John Colet primary school yesterday, presenting certificates for award-winning stories to Sebastian Ngan and Emma Fu, and sharing a creative writing workshop with the two classes. The workshop was the prize after all attendees at the fabulous Lunch with the Stars up at St Pauls in Manly were invited to submit a story. My bag of magical objects (pictured) was a big hit, and I loved the enthusiasm of the students and hearing all the wonderful ideas they shared from the writing exercises. Well done to all the students, and particularly Emma and Sebastian for their terrific stories!
