Apologies for this last minute post – get in quick if you’d like to attend this star-studded virtual conference for readers and writers of historical fiction as this is the last day for early bird registration rates for the upcoming Historical Novels Society of Australasia (HNSA) conference this month (info below.) But of course there’s still time to register after this if you’d like to attend. Spread over two weekends, there’ll be workshops and other ‘boot camp’ activities for writers  (16-17th Oct) and more workshops plus panel discussions, interviews and other writing and related activities in the 2nd weekend (22-24th October).  Guest of Honour is the fabulous Geraldine Brooks (Year of Wonders, People of the Book, The Secret Chord, Nine Parts of Desire.) I’m looking forward to the ‘chat room’ I’ll be sharing with the wonderful Isolde Martyn, talking about reading and writing fiction set in medieval times.  For more info: https://hnsa.org.au.
The Early Bird ticket pricing for our 2021 Virtual Conference will close at midnight tonight, Friday 1 October. Until then, you can snap up a full conference ticket for just $135. After this, the price increases to $175.
